A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

I want to express our sincerest appreciation for the many kind words and outpour of support that we have received over the last couple of weeks. COVID-19 has completely changed all of our lives, and we must adapt and grow together during this challenging time.

As we navigate this new world from the safety of our living rooms, SNHDT is thrilled to begin offering LIVE online classes starting Monday, March 30, 2020! On top of a condensed schedule of live classes for every age group, we will also offer activities and resources for at home fun!

We cannot wait to continue to share our love and passion for dance until we are able to see each other in person again! SNHDT has the most dedicated and creative faculty, and rest assured that they will find many ways to continue to teach and encourage our budding dancers.

Be well, stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing everyone (virtually and in-person) in the near future.

Thank you so much,
Miss Trish and Staff

Who We Are

Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater (SNHDT), now regarded as the area’s finest dance school, was founded in September of 1996 by artistic director Patricia Lavoie, a Bedford, NH native. SNHDT’s highly skilled faculty provides quality training and a sound education in dance as a performing art. While nurturing the development of each student’s technical and artistic skills, we also emphasize an understanding of the inherent traditions that lie behind each dance form. It is our goal to support the philosophy that dance, much like any art form, is an important part of our society’s cultural fabric and heritage. All classes are taught by adults and all curriculums are age- and ability-appropriate.
